A.P. Da Overlord is a New York rapper built on the fundamentals of straight MC'ing, and on Grim Night he hands the boards entirely to Uncle Fester, whose dusty, sample-driven production frames every verse. The pair bring in a tight roster of guests — Hatfield, TYRNT, Indigo Phoenyx and John Creasy among them — for a record that critics singled out as one of 2023's standout underground releases. This physical pressing is especially collectible: three bonus cuts appear here that never made it to the digital service providers.
