Middenweg is a hip-hop duo from Zaandam, the Netherlands, made up of rapper Marvin Adam and producer Lucas de Gier. Lucas brings the urgency and rawness of his punk background, while Marvin counters with sharp, dynamic rapping. On their 2022 debut album Vrede, Land & Cultuur, the duo pulls no punches. In their own words (translated from the original Dutch): "An extensive 16-track album with lyrics about woke culture, societal polarization, cuts to arts and culture funding, and mental health."
