Brainpower, born Gertjan Mulder, is one of Dutch hip-hop's most established names, and Determination (2015, Lyric Recordings) stands as one of his most personal solo records. This 2025 cassette edition marks its 10th anniversary with a full remaster of the original nine songs, plus seventeen bonus cuts: a previously unreleased track, live performances recorded at Slam FM Juize and Vondel CS Amsterdam, track-by-track commentary from Brainpower himself, and a spoken piece from soul vocalist Keith John. Production throughout comes from DJ TLM, Oh Jay and T. Oosterhuis alongside Brainpower, with a feature from Orange Grove Music.
