Katharsis is the joint project of Austrian rapper DRK and producer/MC Digga Mindz, a long-running fixture of the Vienna underground scene through his own Honigdachs imprint. Drohmantik — a play on "Drohung" (threat) and "Romantik" (romance) — first dropped on vinyl through Honigdachs in December 2023 before Yeah Tape Records issued this cassette edition in 2024. The album pulls in a deep bench of Austrian dialect-rap guests, from Sayne One and Kardinal Kaos to Monobrother, over Digga Mindz's dense, sample-heavy production.
