Released in October 2014 through Mass Appeal, Run The Jewels 2 built on the chemistry El-P and Killer Mike sparked on their 2013 debut and turned it into one of the most acclaimed rap albums of the decade, landing on year-end best-of lists from Rolling Stone to Pitchfork. Guests include Rage Against The Machine's Zack de la Rocha, Blink-182's Travis Barker and singer BOOTS, all set against El-P's bruising, sci-fi-tinged production and Killer Mike's razor-sharp verses. It's the album that cemented Run The Jewels as more than a side project — a genuine hip-hop institution.
