General Backpain is a prolific figure in the DITC-adjacent underground rap scene, with a catalog (Cumulus, Wet Work, Caldera, Viceroy) and collaborators including Daniel Son, All Hail Y.T. and Killy Shoot that place him firmly in the same gritty, sample-driven boom bap lane as labelmates like Slik Jack and Vincent Pryce. Holy Hands 3 (Revelations), released in December 2024, is the third and most occult-leaning entry in his Holy Hands run, an eight-track set of dense rhyme schemes and raw drums that closes with a feature from Lupus Dei on the title track.
