Released in December 2023, Blood Smoke Magic is a tightly wound concept record: the title maps onto three threads — Blood standing for the individual self, Smoke for strength, and Magic for creativity — running through each of its thirteen tracks. Grim Moses trades some of his usual boom-bap chaos for a more measured, atmospheric palette alongside producer/MC Noam Chopski, and the AppleDizzle vinyl edition adds two exclusive cuts, "Roads" and "Outro," unavailable anywhere else. The record was mixed and mastered by Noam Chopski and Martijn Ruytinx, with artwork by Leo Carreo.
