KJ is a New York lyricist affiliated with Div7ne Records, a concept-driven label known for building distinct sonic worlds around its artists. Incognito leans on a warm, 70s-movie palette built from soul and jazz samples, including a nod to Marvin Gaye's "I Want You," backing storytelling that touches on resilience and social commentary alongside pure technical wordplay.
