Producer Really Hiiim, from Syracuse, NY, and videographer/executive producer Puzzle joined forces for The Crux, an 11-track collection of somber, sample-driven soundscapes built around an unusually deep guest list. The record pulls together some of the sharpest names in the underground "new wave boom bap" scene, from Willie The Kid and Planet Asia to Fly Anakin, Estee Nack, and Al.Divino, each rapper telling their own tale over Hiiim's grimy production. This alternate cover pressing carries the exact same music as the standard edition, offered here purely for collectors chasing the different sleeve artwork.
