Recognize Ali is an Antwerp-based emcee whose introspective, street-worn storytelling has made him a fixture of Europe's underground boom bap scene. Into My Soul, released via Hip-Hop Enterprise in 2023, was built with a tight crew of collaborators including Free Mind, Junelyfe, Alberto and ToneDeff Cutz, with scratches courtesy of Tone Spliff and DJ TMB. The record's title says it all: ten cuts of dusty drums and confessional bars that dig past the punchlines into real life-of-sin, time-to-grow territory. Pressed in small numbers with a numbered OBI strip, it's the kind of underground press that disappears fast.
