Released in January 2023 on Ill Catz Records, Roaring 20's is Sxint Chris's debut full-length, produced entirely by Arkin and mixed and mastered by Big French. The record draws a direct line between the chaos of the current decade and the swinging energy of the 1920s Harlem Renaissance, wrapping jazz-inflected loops around Chris's family-rooted, lyric-driven bars across a sprawling 17-track sequence of songs, skits, and intermissions. It's a concept-heavy, genre-blending listen that stands out even within Ill Catz's already boom-bap-leaning catalog.
