Tiewai (real name Thierry Verjans) is a rapper from the Winterslag district of Genk, Belgium, and a member of the local hip-hop collective Goeie Jongens. After a quieter period following his earlier, more commercially polished work, Winterslag Miljonair (2019) found him turning inward: reviewers noted the record trades bling for reflections on family and authenticity, delivered over old-school boom bap beats with his trademark laid-back flow. It was originally self-released as a limited, numbered vinyl LP before AppleDizzle Records issued this cassette edition.
