Rome Streetz, the Far Rockaway/Queens MC and a mainstay of the Griselda-adjacent underground scene, teams up here with in-demand producer Conductor Williams, known for his sample-heavy work with Boldy James, Griselda and Mach-Hommy. Trainspotting is a fully collaborative, single-producer project, giving the album a tight, cohesive boom-bap sound built entirely around Conductor's grimy loops. It landed on Mass Appeal in 2023 to strong reviews from the underground hip-hop press, further cementing Rome Streetz's reputation as one of the most reliable lyricists working today.
