Kurzarbeit EP brings together two pillars of the Vienna hip-hop underground: the duo Kreiml & Samurai and the Digga Mindz/DRK camp, both longtime staples of the Honigdachs label. Recorded largely in Austrian dialect over gritty, boom-bap-rooted production, the EP captures the collaborative, DIY spirit that has defined Vienna's rap scene since the label's founding in 2012. It's a tight, no-filler seven-tracker that plays like a snapshot of the city's underground at a real creative peak.
