Evidence (Michael Perretta) built his name as a member of Dilated Peoples before carving out one of underground hip-hop's most consistent solo catalogs, alongside his production duo Step Brothers with The Alchemist. Unlearning Vol. 2 continues the reflective series he started in 2021, built on hazy, sample-driven beats and verses about self-doubt, growth, and letting go of old patterns. This deluxe 500g double-LP pressing on fluorescent blue and green vinyl gives the record's smoky, immersive production the heavyweight treatment, with guest spots from Larry June, Blu, Domo Genesis, and The Alchemist rounding out a record that plays like a veteran taking stock rather than chasing a trend.
