Kneecap are the Irish-language rap trio from West Belfast, made up of Mo Chara, Moglai Bap and DJ Provai, whose confrontational politics and 2024 semi-autobiographical film Kneecap turned them into a global talking point. Fine Art, released on Heavenly Recordings, is their proper debut studio album, built around a fictional night in a Belfast pub and blending Irish and English verses with features from Fontaines D.C.'s Grian Chatten and Kojaque collaborator Radie Peat. It arrived to widespread critical acclaim in 2024 as the sound of a band turning controversy into one of the year's most inventive rap records.
