MidaZ The BEAST is a US underground MC built for the boom-bap purist crowd, and The Last of the Mohicans leans fully into that lane. Rather than sticking to one in-house beatmaker, the album pulls together a murderer's row of respected underground producers — 4th Disciple, Gensu Dean, Paten Locke, Oh No, IMAKEMADBEATS and more — each bringing their own sample-flipping style to a single track. Guest verses from Planet Asia, Supastition, TzariZM and Tristate round out a record that plays like a genuine crew cypher across fifteen tight, no-filler cuts, released via Low Tech Records.
