Released on Loud Records in April 1995, The Infamous is the sophomore album from Havoc and Prodigy and one of the most influential hardcore hip hop records ever made. Co-executive produced by Q-Tip, it fused Havoc's dark, minimal, bass-heavy production with Prodigy's vivid, menacing street narratives, and features guest spots from Nas, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah. "Shook Ones Pt. II" alone became one of the most sampled and referenced tracks in hip hop history, and the album as a whole is consistently ranked among the greatest rap albums of all time.
