IJSLAND is the joint project of two of the Netherlands' most distinctive rappers: Abel van Gijlswijk, the punk-leaning provocateur and former Vice presenter known simply as Abel, and Sef, the Amsterdam veteran behind Flinke Namen. Their first collaborative album introduced a chaotic, genre-blurring take on Dutch hip-hop that has taken them from Lowlands to a sold-out run at Paradiso, and IJSLAND 2 continues that partnership as a full-length sequel released on Abel's own label, Burning Fik.
